The FMIS (Financial Management Information System) project began in 2005. There was signed the contract for an implementation of information system for public finances management between the Republic of Serbia, Hewlett-Packard and the European Agency for Reconstruction. In December 2005, QBSW signed a subcontract with Hewlett-Packard.
QBSW was one of the subcontractors of the FMIS project and it developed the information system for state budget management for FMIS project needs within the contractual obligations. There were implemented the key modules of FMIS system within this information system.
These modules delivered by QBSW ensure, except for a number of other functions, the budget administration during the financial year, the management of the expenditure cycle during the financial year, management of organizations account coding, accessing the accounting to the state organization, management of virtual account and organization, as well as their connection to the banking system. The information system implemented by QBSW also provides powerful tools for the realization of financial plans that are the basis for planning of the state liquidity. There has already been made tens of millions of transactions with this information system.
The successful cooperation during this project led to the signing of the contract for the providing post-guarantee support for FMIS information system on 1st September, 2010.
